Medina Electric Cooperative, Inc. Dilley District Office Groundbreaking

The groundbreaking for the new Dilley District Office for Medina Electric Cooperative, Inc. was held yesterday, January 13th.  The groundbreaking was attended by the MEC Board of Directors, Dilley District Office staff, representatives from the city of Dilley, Pletz Construction, and the design team.  There were many smiles (and shivers) as we braved the wind and cold for photographs of this exciting occasion.  We very much look forward to the grand opening of the new district office in Summer 2012!

A Soft Launch: New Website

Colonial Hills United Methodist Church Ground Breaking

The groundbreaking for the new Sanctuary Support Addition for Colonial Hills United Methodist Church was held this past Sunday.  It was an exciting event, with over 100 parishioners in attendance!  Debra, Paul, Carlos, Michelle, and Rebecca were there, along with Darrell Greco from Greco Construction.  Many photos were taken of people from the congregation getting to use the ceremonial "gold" shovels.  The day's service was followed by a barbeque lunch held for the groundbreaking.

Fire Station No. 19 Open House

The Open House for Fire Station No. 19 was held Saturday, September 24th from 10 AM to 2 PM.  The Hose Uncoupling Ceremony was attended by the families and friends of the crew, as well as many people from the surrounding neighborhood and the San Antonio community.  Debra, Paul, Carlos, and Michelle represented DJD.
